Who’s a DiVA? March 26, 2008

So in my SLife it’s been a crazy..week or so now. Sheesh. I’m soo far behind on piccies but I’m working to go through and upload them.

But yesterday is going into my Top Five Coolest SL Experiences. On Monday I found out I was chosen with a few other lovely ladies for a walk-on role for the upcoming Episode 5 of DiVAS! And yesterday was shoot day! I had soooo much fun and laughed so hard. I can’t wait to see the final ep!

I’m going to be purposely vauge for now about my (small) role and anything to do with the episode until it comes out. And I have pictures from the shoot but those will have to wait, too. But until then, I leave you with some purties I took of my look.

Two posts in two days…Yay for me. Someone fetch me my treat.

I’m planning this long drawn out post, really I am, but for the sake of simply posting that one is on hold-io while I bring you….big hair via Miss Bettiepage Voyager of BP*

I know I’m about the eleventyth-million person to blog this hair but it deserves mad props. I also noticed today she had set the hair for sale. In case you’re too cool for school and can’t be seen chomping at the bit, screaming at a chair about how it’s H AGAIN!!!

Another Skin Mod February 29, 2008

So, about a week ago the Tulip Dress from <3 Cupcakes inspired me to make my first Another Skin Mod. I wanted a spring-y sort of makeup, and was inspired by oranges, peaches and melons. So far all I’ve really played with is lip and blush color, and a bit of the shading. The eye makeups are all from the original PSD from Eloh, but I am working on modding those as well.

I’ve got 3 variations I’m working on, but here are my first attempts. (BTW, it’s an LF0 mod)

I have to say it’s quite addicting, and a powerful feeling that if you want a special makeup you can just make it yourself!
